# Requesting Service Access

|
|
By default, new users are granted access to **Matrix**, **Vaultwarden**, **Forgejo**, **Foundry VTT**, and this documentation site. All other services require an admin to approve your request via Keycloak group membership.
|
|
|
|
## How to Request Access
|
|
|
|
Access is managed through a Matrix bot. Follow these steps:
|
|
|
|
### 1. Open a Chat with the Bot
|
|
|
|
Send a direct message to `@access-bot:starling.mynest.love` on Matrix.
|
|
|
|
### 2. List Available Groups
|
|
|
|
Send the command:
|
|
`!groups`
|
|
|
|
### 3. Request Access to a Group
|
|
|
|
Send the command:
|
|
`!request <group name>`
|
|
|
|
An admin will be informed of your request and will approve/deny accordingly.
|
|
|
|
